The Asian Business Association of San Diego and Small Business Majority are holding a free listening session to help San Diego small business owners and self-employed entrepreneurs learn what the new healthcare law, the Affordable Care Act, means for small business. 

A panel of experts will focus on both federal and state provisions to help local small businesses understand how the law will affect them.

Topics include:

  • Small business tax credits—who’s eligible for them and how to claim them
  • State Health Insurance Exchange
  • High-risk Pools 
  • Shared Responsibility
  • Cost Containment
  • Small Employer Wellness Programs
  • Tools and resources available for small businesses interested in learning more about the law
